G.E.A.R.
Generation, Empowered, Accountable, & Responsible (G. E. A. R.) youth ministry is the incubator for the birth of a new generation – a generation of youth who are empowered to live a life of accountability and responsibility to God, family, as well as, our peers.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to empower and encourage youth and young adults towards a life of accountability and responsibility. In G.E.A.R., this term, students will be engaged in a series of open and candid conversations about a variety of social issues and challenges relevant to them. Peer leaders & facilitators will foster an environment where class participants can talk freely and experience the support of a group of peers who care.
G.E.A.R. Movie Nights
Class Description: Movies have a tremendous impact on our society. While the primary intent of most movies is to entertain, they also contain practical insight. That being said, during our Wisdom Wednesday classes, we will be showing select scenes from the movies we view during our movie nights and discussing what practical, biblical life lessons we can glean from the scenes.
