SATURDAY PRACTICAL LIVING CLASSES
Classes are being offered the second Saturday of each month. Classes will begin Saturday, February 11 at the Lindbergh Campus at 10:00a. After you decide which class you would like to attend, please fill out registration form.
Boys II Men
Whoever said that maturing was easy? Growing involves some pain and causes one to adjust to new circumstances. Boys II Men is a metaphor which suggests transitioning from immaturity to maturity. This transition involves growth that can be sometimes painful but as men we must take our medicine. This term Boys II Men will discuss being a vital man. This is a topic you don’t want to miss.
Developing A Political Ecclesiology
What role does politics have in religion? Is it possible for both to co-exist? How do Christians reconcile their faith with politics? This class will explore such questions moving. Christians to see the importance of being politically active and yet remain faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Face Off
Face-Off is geared toward young Christian adults and is aimed at cultivating them intellectually so that they will be equipped to serve as an effective witness of the Christian faith. This term Face-Off will bridge the gap between religion and politics and the importance both have for an effective Christian witness.
Golden Age
Wisdom is born of experience and our seniors are ready to share their wisdom. This term Golden Age will discuss the importance of making one’s life count meaningfully. As God has given us our daily bread and has blessed us with life, it's what we do for the kingdom that matters. Support our seniors and learn how you can make your life count.
Marriage Enrichment
Marriage is a covenant ordained by God. The covenant of marriage involves the willing participation of both parties involved to love, grow, and share with each other with God in the midst. Come out and broaden your understanding of the covenant of marriage.
Mentoring For Young Women
Ages 12-18. This class shows young ladies how to be well rounded young adults by engaging in age relevant discussions that are Christian in character and by taking occasional field trips to expose them to some of the productive things our city has to offer.
Women Of Hope
This class will explore alternative ways that women who battle the challenges of life can find peace through vulnerable yet confidential discussions using the word of God as their practical guide for hope and inspiration.
