Read Mark 5:22-24. Jesus is usually the one who says come, but here Jairus asked Jesus to come and heal his daughter. Jesus is more than eager to come. There are times when we cannot come to Jesus as in this text, but then Jesus comes to us in our time of need. The gospel story is about a God who comes to us in Jesus Christ.
