Good morning! Read Matthew 7:7-12.  These verses serve to focus our prayer life.  It's not just asking; it's seeking, knocking and knowing you will receive and find that the door will be open to you.  It also has a word about the Father.  If the son asks for bread, He will not give him a stone.
