GenNext Weekend 2019 Basketball Tournament
Friday, March 8th at 7pm
We are excited to share that on Saturday, February 16th, from 12 noon - 2pm at Hazelwood North Middle (4420 Vaile Ave.), we are inviting all interested young gents and ladies, grades 3 – 12 to participate in a series of practices leading up to the tournament.
The Next 2 practices will take place on Saturdays: 2/23 & 3/2 at Hazelwood North Middle..
The Tournament will be held at the North County Recreation Complex (2577 Redman Avenue) on Friday, March 8th, from 7p – 9:30p.
Through our youth athletic offerings we hope to do the following:
- Promote health and fitness while teaching fundamental skills
- Provide a positive peer group of Christian influence
- Nurture character (e.g. sportsmanship, teamwork etc.)
- Build mentoring relationships
- Provide an opportunity for fun and fellowship that will nurture healthy relationships between our youth and supportive adults
There will be a parent meeting as well on Saturday, February 16th, from 12 noon - 12:30 pm at Hazelwood North Middle to inform youth and parents of the expectations and guidelines for participation in the Basketball Tournament.
